Tips for Faster World of Warcraft Leveling 1-80
August 31, 2009
Leveling from 1-80 in World of Warcraft is an art form. It requires time and plenty of effort. However, there are steps that can make leveling your world of warcraft character much easier. Often these simple methods are neglected and often the reason that many world of warcraft accounts never make it past level 20. Following these simple steps below will help you level your character much more efficiently saving you literally weeks of time! Here they are:
Tip 1- Take as many quests as possible and have them lined up all at once. Do not do quests one at a time. When entering a new area, find all the quests from NPC’s first before you start doing anything else.
Tip 2- Use Auto-Run (Num Lock Key). You would be surprised but allot of players forget to use auto run when playing the game. This can slow progress down considerably and take much longer for you to do anything!
Tip 3- Use groups that complement your character class. Often times questing in a group can be beneficial and accelerate both quest completion and leveling. Try to find a group of one or two additional players that complement your character nicely.
Tip 4- Stock up! Before questing have plenty of food, water, ammo, and repaired gear. This will insure that you last for a long period of time without having to return to town to restock.
Tip 5- Stick with green quests. These quests are a few levels below your character and insure that you don’t get killed. Do these quests to prevent lost time being killed. Also, killing monsters that are green to you will be effective in grinding you character class. Its both fast and efficient!
Tip 6- Don’t just stick to a single zone! When the benefits of leveling in your zone wear off its time to move on to a more challenging and rewarding zone. This will insure optimal leveling efficiency and speed.
I hope you enjoyed this and found it helpful in making world of warcraft gold! Please visit our Webpage at for more great guides!

I. What Are Achievements?
“World of Warcraft’s achievements come in several varieties. Some simply require specific actions to unlock, such as getting a haircut or defeating a member of each race in your opposing faction in PvP. Others involve a progress bar and require you to do something several times — such as give out 10 hugs. Some achievements are progressive; for example, once you complete an achievement to collect 10 vanity pets, you might next be asked to collect 25. Finally, meta achievements unlock when you complete other achievements — unlocking all World Exploration achievements (see below) unlocks a World Explorer meta achievement. Some achievements, including those that involve quests, honorable kills, items currently in your possession, skills (including professions), exploration, and reputations, will be applied to your character retroactively. “
II. What can I Gain from Achievements?
Well, from my point of view, Cool rewards such as pets, Tabards, Titels. Etc. And most likely well known if you a have the rarer achievements done.
IV. Quests
Classic/Burning Crusade
[Bombs Away]
This one is easier, but has random factors that are hard to prevent. First are the kaliris, if you aggro one and get dazed or hamstrung you lose, so try to avoid them. The other one is the respawn of the eggs, try to wait a few minutes next to the quest giver and go a few minutes after you saw someone take the quest if it’s an issue.
The route I chose was the following one: Maps – World of Warcraft
[Blade's Edge Bomberman]
Go to the Burning Legion camp north of O’grila for this, and make sure you don’t lose a single second of bomb uptime. Don’t try to avoid other if you fail a throw just reset it, you lost too much time. Make sure your 15th bomb is thrown at the southern-most cannon so that you can fly back and turn in ASAP (you have to turn in for credit). Also try to avoid being clumsy and losing time turning the quest in (in might sound stupid, but this achievement is hard and every second really counts).
[Loremaster]
You have to go everywhere around the Azorath and complete every quest you find or see. Here are Couple of tips:
-Track low-level quests
-Make sure your quest log is never full w
-Do NOT skip any quest
-If you did all the zones in the Azarath and are short go on wowhead, look up the zone, and select “Show Horde/Alliance Questgivers” in the drop down menu above the map.
- Impartant: Look on Wowhead for a list of items that give quests

Gain exalted status with the Stormpike Guard/FrostWolf Clan. In Other words keep doing Alterac Valley untill
you gain exalted.
C. Arathi Basin
[Arathi Basin Veteran]
Win 100 games. Its a matter of time but you might
lose more often.
[Me and the Cappin' Makin' it Happen]
Take 50 flags. This is easy, and again just a matter of time. It’s quite possible to have a lot of flag tags in one game — you’re not required to capture the flag you’ve tagged for it to count for the Achievement. In a worst case scenario, simply be the first to take the nearest node (Farm or Stables) in fifty games.
[Disgracin' the Basin]
Take 3 flags in one game. Doing this Achievement should help you with the previous one. It’s a great incentive for players to pay attention to the flag instead of mindlessly fighting off it. Then again, tagging it doesn’t guarantee you’ll stick around for it to get captured. Easily doable with a bit of effort, specially if teams are
evenly matched.
[Overly Defensive]
Defend 3 flags in one game. Now this one isn’t quite as easy as the last Achievement. First of all, when the opposing team tags the flag, it usually means that they have the superior force and that you are quite likely dead or about to die. Maybe not even anywhere near the flag at all. You will have one minute to get that back — technically you have fifty seconds. You will be using some of that time to travel, resurrect, fight and kill enemies who would stop the tag or worse, a combination of all three. It’s certainly doable, but it takes a lot of circumstances being in your favor for you to do so. Just be mindful of the flag timer. AddOns like Deadly Boss Mods for Battlegrounds are good for this.
[To the Rescue!]
Defend 50 flags. This is one of the more worthy Achievements because it takes a considerable amount of effort to do. As hard as Overly Defensive is, getting back a flag fifty times takes some dedication. In fact, you should treat losing games as an opportunity to complete this Achievement. One flag defended in a losing match makes it worth it.
[Resilient Victory]
Overcome a 500 resource advantage and win. Another difficult Achievement, even with a pre-made. If you let the opposing team get ahead by 500 points, it usually takes a 4- or 5-cap to overtake it. Deadly Boss Mods will help you track how many flags you’ll need to win the game, but if it’s really early, establishing and maintaining 4-cap should do it. If it’s late in the game, you have no choice but to take all five flags. That’s a tall order considering you’re against a team that has held three or more flags long enough to jump ahead 500 points.
[Territorial Dominance]
Win 10 times while holding 5 bases. This is another Achievement you don’t necessarily have to focus on. It will just happen. 5-caps happen quite often on both sides, even with PUGs. If you want to expedite the process instead of wishing for good groups, organize a premade. Otherwise, just grind your way to those 100 wins, and it’s pretty much guaranteed that you’ll get enough 5-caps along the way.
[Let's Get This Done]
Win in 6 minutes. The simplest answer would be to play with a premade, but this is doable even with a PUG with some luck and disproportionate numbers at the beginning of the match. The only way to win within that time considering flags need one minute to get captured and start ticking is to 5-cap. Without having to go through tactics and all, just play hard, work together as a team, and this Achievement should just happen.
[We Had it All Along]
Win 2000 to 1990. This is an insanely difficult Achievement to get, and somewhat impossible to engineer. Even with a premade, you won’t necessarily get this result — and be on the winning side. These numbers happen when the game seesaws between three and two bases. Otherwise, this is arguably the most difficult Achievement to obtain, and players often get it as a matter of luck. If you want to screw things up for enemies, if the game is close and you’re ticking too slow to win… let them take a flag. I highly encourage screwing Achievements for the enemy faction, and considering this is one of the harder ones to get, there’s no reason opponents should get it at your expense.
[The Defiler / Knight of Arathor]
Get Exalted with the Defilers / League of Arathor. Many old school players will already have this in the bag or have a head start, specially those who experienced the old Mark of Honor turn-ins that granted reputation. On normal days, every 200 resources grant 10 reputation and on holidays such as this weekend, the reputation ticks every 150 resources. This grants a total of 100 reputation per win on normal days and 130 during the Call to Arms holiday. You’re certain to get the 100 won games on the way to this if you’re just starting from scratch. I’ll peg this one as hard because if you’r starting from Neutral, it can be quite the grind with no turn-ins. If you got the reputation from this a long time ago, more power to you.
[Arathi Basin All-Star]
Assault and defend 2 bases in one game. This takes some effort and luck, but completely doable on anyone’s first game. Again, the hard part is defending a flag. If you manage to do this, you might as well go for the Overly Defensive Achievement because you’re not guaranteed to have easy recaps every game. Still easier than Overly Defensive because 2 flag tags are much easier than defending one.
[Arathi Basin Assassin]
Kill 5 players at each node. This isn’t a hard Achievement as it is annoying… this requires players to constantly move from node to node, which usually means that nodes will be left empty. If all players are pursuing this Achievement, for example, nobody would be left to defend anything as it kills the chances of killing elsewhere. It’s not a difficult Achievement because it’s based off Honorable Kills and not killing blows. As soon as you get five at one node, simply move to another that’s being assaulted. There’ll be a lot of games where you’ll come up short of a few, but generally, this is doable with a bit of effort. Fortunately, it doesn’t require that your team win.
D. Eye of The Storm
[Eye of the Storm Victory]
Win Eye of the Storm.
[Eye of the Storm Veteran]
Complete 100 victories in Eye of the Storm, Which will be time consuming and boring, grr!
[The Perfect Storm]
Win Eye of the Storm with a score of 2,000 to 0. This Will be not nearly as hard as alteric valley just get a really good pre-made.
[Eye of the Storm Domination]
Win Eye of the Storm 10 times while holding 4 bases. I would call this luck if you didn’t pre-made it, which i suggest you do to make this go faster.
Flurry:
Win Eye of the Storm in under 6 minutes
[Stormtrooper]
Kill 5 flag carriers in a single Eye of the Storm battle.
[Storm Capper]
Personally carry and Capture the Flag in Eye of the Storm. Simple Enough?
[Bound for Glory]
In a single Eye of the Storm match, Capture the Flag 3 times without dying.
[Stormy Assassin]
In a single Eye of the Storm battle, get 5 honorable kills at each of the bases.
[Take a Chill Pill]
In Eye of the Storm, kill a player who is under the effects of the Berserker power-up.
[Bloodthirsty Berserker]
Get a killing blow while under the berserker buff in
Eye of the Storm.
[Storm Glory]
While your team holds 4 of the bases in Eye of the Storm, personally grab the flag and capture it.
E. Warsong Glutch
[Warsong Gulch Veteran]
Win 100 games. Just like all Battleground veteran Achievements, this is just a matter of time. Depending on your luck and your faction, this can breeze fast or painfully slow. If you’re grinding for reputation, you’re pretty much guaranteed to finish this Achievement before getting to Exalted. As fun as it is to engage in battle mid-field, just remember that the goal of the map is to capture the flag. Unlike other Battlegrounds, Warsong Gulch can drag on for a very, very long time if players don’t keep focused on the goal or are too evenly matched.
[Capture the Flag]
Capture the flag. This is one of the easier Achievements in this meta, and it helps if you’re a class with some mobility like a Druid, Shaman, or even a Rogue and Mage. That said, it shouldn’t be too difficult to do this once out of all the many games you’ll be playing.
[Frenzied Defender]
Return 5 flags in a single battle. This is truly one of the more challenging Achievements among all the Battleground one as it requires a great amount of luck, skill, and a decent connection. You must return your team’s flag yourself, which necessitates superior clicking skills. Aside from the difficulty of taking down an enemy flag carrier, you’re also competing with your teammates to be the first to return the flag. Now try to do this five times, and you can imagine all sorts of things going wrong. One techinique by which to unlock this Achievement is to simply wait for the flag carrier to die, focusing on the flag return rather than actually killing the carrier. Taking down solo flag carriers on your own is a guaranteed return, as well.
[Persistent Defender]
Return 50 flags. This Achievement is just a matter of… persistence. Play enough games of Warsong Gulch while keeping the objectives in mind, you’ll be able to unlock this Achievement over time. In fact, constantly trying to complete Frenzied Defender should take you some way towards completing this.
[Warsong Outrider / Silverwing Sentinel]
Gain Exalted reputation with the Warsong Outriders or Silverwing Sentinels. More than anything, this is quite a painful grind for any player starting from scratch. If your team loses without capturing a single flag, you gain 0 reputation. Even if you fought tooth and nail for hours. Old school players have it easier, as Marks of Honor were once turned in for reputation gains. At 35 reputation per flag capture, it will take 1,200 flag captures to move from Neutral to Exalted (less during the Holiday, as it is 35+10 per flag capture). That’s a hell of a lot of games. The only upside is that unlike some factions, there’s no limit to the reputation you can gain per day. Theoretically, you can play (and win) all day and gain quite a bit of reputation.
[Warsong Expedience]
Win in under 7 minutes. The only way to get this Achievement is if your team plays to, well, perfection. This means that one runner is ready to pick up the flag as soon as it respawns. It takes 20 seconds for the flag to spawn after a capture, so there’s about 40 seconds of dead time. You’ll need some fast runners — as mentioned, like Druids — in order to optimize travel time and finally, you’ll need to encounter minimal resistance and not have your team’s flag get too far. If your enemies put up even a token fight, keeping the flag for some length of time, you’ll easily go over the 7 minute mark which doesn’t include the 2 minute preparation period. Alternately, if the Battleground closes early due to not having enough players (5 minute timer), all you need to do is have one capture over the opponent to unlock this Achievement.
[Ironman]
Capture the flag 3 times without dying. Sounds like a difficult Achievement until you realize you don’t need to be the one to grab the flag from the enemy base. Another players can drop or pass the flag and it would still count towards the Achievement. This requires that players not die throughout the entire match so while it’s easier for some classes and specs, it’s quite doable by anybody with the right assistance and circumstance.
[Quick Cap]
Grab and capture the flag in under 75 seconds. This is a truly challenging Achievement that very few players will unlock by accident. Traveling from the enemy flag room to your team’s flag room in under 75 seconds will require both speed boots as well as an additional boost from another source such as Swiftness Potions or abilities like Sprint. It also requires absolutely no contestation whatsoever and naturally your team’s flag firmly in place. More than the other Achievements, this takes some planning and a confluence of good events.
[Supreme Defender]
Kill 100 flag carriers. Easy as pie. Simply help in taking down flag carriers and you should unlock this Achievement after a few days of playing. You don’t have to make the killing blow for this to count, either, so this should come naturally on your way to 100 wins or Exalted.
[Save the Day]
Kill the enemy flag carrier right before they capture the flag. The wording is actually more complicated than that but essentially, you’ll need to kill the enemy flag carrier while they’re already inside their flag room moments away from capturing your flag. This is hard. The proper thing to do would be to grab the enemy flag in order to delay the cap long enough to kill the carrier. Not grabbing the flag is extremely risky, which makes this Achievement rather challenging. A plethora of stuns, roots, and snares should help you out here.
F. Strand of the Ancients
[Strand of the Ancients Veteran]
Win 100 games. As with all the Battleground veteran Achievements, this is just a matter of time and takes little effort, but a lot of perseverance.
[Steady Hands]
Disarm 5 Massive Seaforium Charges in a single battle. This necessitates that enemy players plant the explosives, which they don’t always do. Some offense rely purely on the power of siege vehicles to break down gates. It is a two second channel to dismantle one, and is easily broken by any attack except periodic damage. Players must have a keen eye for the charges, which can be easily obfuscated by smoke and siege vehicle debris. Players must also disarm the charge themselves, so having to compete with teammates makes the Achievement much more difficult. Done on defense.
[Explosives Expert]
Plant 5 Seaforium Charges which successfully damage a wall in a single battle. This is much easier to do than the previous Achievement, as many players on defense will be focused on destroying tanks. It will take ten seconds for an explosive to go off, and any hit on enemies will disrupt their attempts to dismantle it. Players pursuing the Achievement can even attack walls opposite the ones being focused on by siege vehicles so there are fewer defenders. Done on offense.
[The Dapper Sapper]
Plant 100 Seaforium Charges which successfully damage a wall. This is the same as Explosives Expert spread over any number of games. Because this is purely an individual effort that doesn’t require enemies to plant bombs or use tanks, this is one of the easiest ‘do 100 of this’ Achievement. Done on offense.
[Artillery Expert]
Destroy 5 vehicles using a siege turret in a single battle. This should encourage players to man the cannons in Strand of the Ancients. It’s important to note that players need only to deal some damage to a tank in order for it to count towards this Achievement, and not necessarily deal the killing blow. Hit some tanks, and hope that teammates finish the job. Players need to be on manning the turret when a vehicle is destroyed for kills to count. Done on defense
[Artillery Veteran]
Destroy 100 vehicles using a siege turret. Same as Artillery Expert, but spread over any number of games. As the veteran title would reveal, it’s a matter of perseverance over time. Done on defense.
[Drop it now!]
Kill 5 players carrying seaforium charges in a single battle. If opponents are doing their jobs, this is a very easy Achievement to get and usually unlocked during a player’s first game. Players don’t need to deal the killing blow, but just be in the vicinity of the kill. Done on defense.
[Drop It!]
Kill 100 players carrying seaforium charges. This is even easier than The Dapper Sapper, which takes conscious effort. Players will get this Achievement through the course of playing several games of Strand of the Ancients without even trying. Done on defense.
[Ancient Protector]
Kill 10 players in the Courtyard of the Ancients in a single battle. A nod to the Ancient Protectors of Warcraft III, this is another ridiculously easy Achievement provided either side manages to breach the Gate of the Yellow Moon. Again, this doesn’t require killing blows, so leeching off 10 Honorable Kills is extremely easy. Just like Drop it now!, this is usually one of the first Achievement players unlock in Strand of the Ancients. Done on offense and defense.
[Storm the Beach]
Capture the Titan Relic in under four minutes. This is easier than it sounds, and is about the easiest of the timed win Achievements of the Battlegrounds. It was bugged prior to Patch 3.0.8, which counted the pre-match period and in between, making it impossible to unlock. However, teams can make quick work of gates with focused fire from siege vehicles. Unlike most of the other Achievements, one player can’t complete this one alone. Done on offense.
[Not Even a Scratch]
Win a match without losing any siege vehicles. Unless players are faced against completely inept teams, this is one of the more difficult Achievements to pull off. In fact, I try to make it a point to spoil it for any player by destroying at least one vehicle in every game. Because siege vehicles are critical to winning, they are often — and necessarily — focused upon. They also cannot be healed, thus the only way to preserve tanks is to kill their attackers. This is another team effort. Groups determined to do this must focus on protecting their siege vehicles, which will more often than not, lead to winning. Good luck! Done on offense.
[Defense of the Ancients]
Win a match without losing any walls. This Achievement, a reference to DotA-AllStars, is extremely difficult for a Horde player to pull off right now because they need to defend for a full ten minutes. Until Blizzard implements the coin toss for Strand of the Ancients, Horde players must work much harder to defend walls. It’s still doable, however, and a coordinated group can keep enemies from ever reaching the gates by staying on the docks, killing vehicles and players who pick up explosives. Difficult, but easier to do than Not Even a Scratch. Done on defense.
G. WinterGrasp
[Against the Odds]

VII. Professions
A. Cooking
Chef de Cuisine:
Make sure you check the AH for recipes you don’t have (Use the “Usable Items only” checkbox). Every recipe is either taught by every cooking master, learned from an object (look up the ones you don’t have on Wowhead), or taught by the Barmaid in the Shattrath Inn. I also recommend getting the Addon Ackis Recipe List: Ackis Recipe List – Addons – Curse in order to know what recipes you’re missing and where to obtain them.
[The Outland Gourmet]
You must know every recipe taught in Outland, 90% can be bought, 3 are taught in Shattrath’s Inn and the others Reciepes come from the level 70 cooking dailies. Which i listed Below
Manalicious – Quest – World of Warcraft
Revenge is Tasty – Quest – World of Warcraft
Soup for the Soul – Quest – World of Warcraft
Super Hot Stew – Quest – World of Warcraft
Each Dailie quest gives you a Barrel of Fish And Crate of Meat Cantaing:
Barrel of Fish: Barrel of Fish – Item – World of Warcraft
Meat Crate: Crate of Meat – Item – World of Warcraft
[The Northrend Gourmet]
Due to lack of space i will post a link to this with very useful information: Wowhead: Our data brings all the geeks to the yard.

[The Dalaran Cooking Award]
The Dalaran Cooking Award is obtainable through the Dalaran daily cooking quests, you can get 1-2 awards as quest reward and occasionally +1 from the Small Spice Bag.
[Captain's Rumsey Lager]
Found in the bags given as rewards from the Daily Fishing quest. The NPC is found near Silmyr lake, near Shattrath.
[Critter Gitter]
Recipe purchesed from Derek Odds (Derek Odds – NPC – World of Warcraft) Requires 3 Dalaran Cooking Awards Or buy the item it self from the AH, Now for the main part once you aquire the item I highly recommend the penguins off the coast of either Howling Fjord or Borean Tundra. You won’t need a flying mount if you’ve got Elixir of Water Walking or a class ability to help you swim… or a lot of patience to swim out at normal speed.
B. Fishing
[The Scavenger]
Steam Pump Flotsam (Zangarmarsh)
Bloodsail Wreckage (Coastal STV)
Schooner Wreckage (Hillsbrad Foothills, Wetlands)

[The Lurker Above]
You must become an engineer or Revered with the Skyguards for this acheivment, unless you are a mage or a priest. Make a raid and go into SSC, jump to the water, use your cloak (skyguard one or parachute), and have a shaman cast Water Walking on you or use an elixir of Water Walking. Walk to the middle of the cavern, fish, die, and than done?
Priests: Just levitate, no fall damage and water walking.
[Deadliest Catch]
Complete the quest Nat’s Measuring Tape if you haven’t, it is found in ZG where you summon the fish boss. Buy a Mudskunk Lure from Nat Pagle Located in Dustwallow Marsh: Nat Pagle – NPC – World of Warcraft after having turned in the quest. Fish five Mudskunks in ZG and then use the item at the camp.
[Old Crafty / Old Ironjaw]
It is 100% random and it takes 600 usless casts to find each one of them or use a fishing bot. Cough.
[Mr. Pinchy's Magical Crawdad Box]
Extremely low drop from Highland Mixed Schools (Fishbot wont Work for this) found in high places (Which you need a Flying Mount, east of Alliance Keep, and Skettis). Not only does Mr. Pinchy Wont likely give you the box first try but the third time in 100% chance to get it. A More Detailed guide here: Mr. Pinchy – El’s Extreme Anglin’ – WoW Fishing Guide
[The Fishing Diplomat]
If you are Horde jump into the water to the right when entering Stormwind and fish on the banks there.
If you are Alliance, fish in the Valley of Spirits and enter Orgrimmar from the West entrance (Barrens).
Also There is quest that allows the player to go into Org/SW and every NPC is gone. If Someone knows which quest this is please inform me.

[Silver In The City]
Each one can be fished up by the dalaran fountain
[There's Gold In That There Fountain]
Each one can be fished up by the dalaran fountain, be more patient for this one.
[Fish Dont Leave Footprints]
Weather-Beaten Journals can be found in at least Curious Crates, Heavy Supply Crate, Iron Bound Trunk, Mithril Bound Trunk, Watertight Trunk and (very rarely) Tightly Sealed Trunk. Drop rate is best for Curious Crates (about 50% contain a journal), however other trunks may be easier to fishI can confirm that the Steam Pump Flotsam pools in Zangarmarsh are great sources for the Heavy Supply Crates, hence the Weather-Beaten Journal as well.
IX. Reputation
[Ambassador of the Horde]
So All you got to do is go ahead and do AV turn-ins they give rep with each faction and reccomond farming cloth in strat if your an 80, but goes up rather slowly. Also Quest!!! Questing gives rep for every faction, but it’s slower (if you want to do Loremaster achievements though do them before this one). Turning in Runecloth gives 75 Reputation per 20 Runecloth and is the fastest, but it’s only worth it if you only have one or two reputations you want to level. If you haven’t completed every low level quest in the game you should do that first, as it is the easiest way to get reputation.
A. Classic
The Argent Dawn:
Do all the Argent Dawn quests. And once done with that farm Undead in Stratholme.
[Brood of Nozdormu]
Get the quest to kill BWL’s second boss: Broodlord in Cenarion Hold, Silithus. Complete it and then farm silithids for rep and or run AQ40 with your friend or pug it.
[Hydraxian Waterlords]
Run MC. They also give a handful of MC quests if you go to Azshara at 79, 73.
[Hero of the Zandalar Tribe]
Go ZG and gather bijous and or buy them off the AH and turn them in. This is Soloable at 80 if you are well geared.
[They Love me in that Tunnel]
Go to Felwood and make sure you complete the quests given by the neutral furbolg at the entrance to the tunnel. Than go ahead and kill the furblog, collect there feathers a turn them in for some rep.
B. The Burning Crusade
[Skyshattered]
This is a race, but you don’t have to finish first, simply finishing is enough. Stay clear of him to have time to see the fireballs coming (like in BEM bombing), cut corners, be careful because he sometimes turns around, don’t get too far, and don’t give up. It’s hard but you’ll get there.
[The Violet Eye]
Run Karazhan, Accept the quests in the beggining.
[Shattrath Divided]
Complete the faction’s quests (found scattered across Outlands) and then turn their faction-specific items (if you don’t know what they are look at the repeatable quests on the faction’s tier)
[The Czar of Sporegarr]
Do thier quests, they are east of the Spawning Glen and in Sporegarr Village, both in Zangarmarsh. To Farm Rep go to UB and start killing everything you see. Once you killed everything run back out and reset than instance.
[Chief Exalted Officer]
Serveral ways to do this so i’ll list some, Ogre warbeads in Nagrand is a very easy way. Another is to kill Etherals in Netherstorm which drop insignas Mana-Tombs also gives rep for this and daily heroic and dungeon quests give some too. The consortium also has quests you should complete, but they are all over Outlands.
[Mag'har of Draenor]
Complete all their quests found in Garadar (Nagrand) and in Mag’har post (Hellfire Peninsula), and farm ogres in the South-East Village of Nagrand. I recommend saving the beads they drop for Consortium, but if don’t want to they’re a huge boost to Mag’har reputation (50 rep each).
[On Wings of Nether]
Once you have your epic mount do the chain quest that starts from the blood elf hunter east of the Sanctum of Stars in SMV. Once you’re neutral go on Netherwing Ledge and do the dailies there. Pick up any egg you find on the isle, they are a great boost to reputation
[You're so Offensive]
Complete SSO dailies on the Isle of Quel’Danas. Ouch.
[A Quest a Day Keeps the Ogres at Bay]
Do the chain quest you find at the BEM arena, the questgiver is on top of the tower east of it. You can then do O’grila and Skyguard (BEM ones only) dailies until Exhalted, they are found in O’grila and in the skyguard post north of the village.
[Flying High Over Skettis]
Do the quest chain found next to Nutral the flight-master in Shattrath. Then do Skettis (Terokkar Forest) and Blade’s Edge Mountains Skyguard dailies (north of O’grila).
[The Burning Crusader]
For each of these factions do the quests found in their town and then do thier instances
Thrallmar (Hellfire Peninsula): Ramparts, Blood Furnace, Shattered Halls
Lower City: Auchenai Crypts, Sethekk Halls, Shadow Labyrinth
The Sha’tar: Mechanar, Botanica, Arcatraz
Cenarion Expedition (Zangarmarsh): Slave Pens, Underbog, Steamvaults
Keepers of Time (Tanaris): Escape from Durnholde Keep, Black Morass
[The Scales of Sand]
Complete Mount Hyjal sevral times.
[Sworn to the Deathsworn]
Complete Black Temple servral times.

Coins are acquired by completing the quests available from Elders found in different zones (see lists above).
[Elune's Blessing]
To complete this achievement, you must complete the quest Elune’s Blessing available from Valadar Starsong in Moonglade. This achievement does not actually require you to summon or defeat Omen, but just to obtain the Elune’s Blessing buff by being near him when he is defeated (by other players or your own group).
[Frenzied Firecracker]
To complete this achievement, simply purchase 10 Festival Firecracker from a Lunar Festival Vendor located at a Lunar Festival camp in Ironforge, Darnassus, Thunder Bluff, Orgrimmar, Undercity or Moonglade. Once you have obtained the fireworks, just hotkey them and fire them off as quickly as possible! Easy!
[Lunar Festival Finery]
To complete this achievement, you must purchase either a festive pant suit or festive dress with Coin of Ancestry obtained from honoring the Elders. The festival clothing can be purchased in Moonglade for 5 Coin of Ancestry. There are three different dresses and three different pant suits that can be purchased, so you can get all of them to complete your very own Lunar Festival wardrobe (though the achievement does only require one). The clothing is Bind on Pickup, but items can be purchased by characters of any level so this is a great opportunity to deck out your bank alt in style!
[The Rocket's Red Glare]
To complete this achievement, simply purchase 10 Red Rocket Cluster from a Lunar Festival Vendor located at a Lunar Festival camp in Ironforge, Darnassus, Thunder Bluff, Orgrimmar, Undercity or Moonglade. Unlike other fireworks, cluster fireworks must be launched from a Cluster Launcher, which you can find on the ground throughout the camps or even have one crafted by an engineer (though that isn’t really necessary). Find a launcher and fire away!
B. Love is In The Air

For this achievement, you must acquire one of each type of Heart Candy items listed from a Bag of Candies. The Bag of Candies can only be used once every minute, and each bag has 10 Charges. You can get the Bag of Candies randomly in Gifts of Adoration or Pledges of Adoration.

Alliance players must get completely smashed, put on a Perfume Bottle, throw a Handful of Rose Petals on Sraaz and then /kiss him. Simply drink to your heart’s content until you receive the message that your character is smashed, and you’re set! You can get the Handful of Rose Petals randomly in Gifts of Adoration or Pledges of Adoration. [Nation of Adoration]
For this achievement, Horde must obtain Gift of Adoration: Orgrimmar, Gift of Adoration: Undercity and Gift of Adoration: Thunder Bluff from the civilians in each city. Alliance must obtain Gift of Adoration: Stormwind, Gift of Adoration: Ironforge and Gift of Adoration: Darnassus from the civilians in each city. [Perma-Peddle]

[Disturbing the Peace]
while wearing 3 pieces of Brewfest clothing, get completely smashed and dance in Dalaran. Obviously you can’t complete this until WotLK goes live, but you can get the clothes in advance so you won’t have to wait for Brewfest ‘09.
[Strange Brew]
drink the nine Brewfest beers. These beers are sold by the various brewmasters around the Brewfest camps; however, like the foods, they only last 2 days. The same trick of mailing them to an alt and then returning them should work, however.
[The Brewfest Diet]
eat 8 of the Brewfest foods. These foods are sold by the various vendors around the Brewfest camps; however, they only last 2 days. They’re not BoP, however, so you can buy them and mail them to a banker alt, and leave them sitting in the mail (which doesn’t cost any lifespan), and mail them back when Achievements go live.
[Have Keg, Will Travel]
obtain a Brewfest mount. Last year’s Brewfest Rams count, as do this year’s rams and kodos dropped by Coren Direbrew.
[Drunken Stupor]
fall 65 yards without dying while completely smashed during the Brewfest Holiday. Unless 3.0.2 goes live before Brewfest finishes, this will have to wait for Brewfest ‘09.

Complete the Stolen Winter Veil Treats / Stolen Winter Veil Treats questline. They require you to talk to the Strange Snowman in Alterac Mountains to get a quest to kill The Abominable Greench
[Bros. Before Ho Ho Ho's] (lol)
Alliance players have to talk to a lot more people, but Horde players have to go through Northrend (and eventually end up in Icecrown, it might be a problem for players below level 77). The hardest part of the achievement might be getting the Mistletoe, to obtain it just type /kiss while targeting a Winter Reveler. (This is a random “drop”, you might have to try it a few times to actually get the Mistletoe)
[He Knows If You've Been Naughty]
Open one of the presents underneath the Winter Veil tree once they are available. You only need to open ONE present and not all of them, it’s basically another free achievement. The presents are only available from December 25th to January 2nd and you’ll have to wait a few days before you can complete this one.
Earn 50 honorable kills as a Little Helper from the Winter Wondervolt machine. The machines are outside Orgrimmar / Ironforge, just step into it to get a 30 minutes transformation buff and enter your favorite battleground to kill a few people! (Note that the transformation does NOT persist through death, you will have to finish/leave the battleground and get another transformation if you die)
[Fa-la-la-la-Ogri'la]
Complete Bomb Them Again! after transforming your mount with Preserved Holly / Fresh Holly rewarded from various quests and Winter Revelers during the event.
[Crashin' & Thrashin']
This achievement requires to use the special ability of your Crashin’ Thrashin’ Racer Controller and smash other player’s racer Which can be obtained for the gifts.
[Let It Snow]
During the Feast of Winter Veil, use a Handful of Snowflakes on each of the race/class combinations listed below. This achievement could be hard because the only way to get Handful of Snowflakes is by kissing Winter Revelers once an hour. Hopefully, they’re not soulbound and can be sold / exchanged between your characters, depending on how desperate you are you could just create level 1 characters to get enough of them. (You could also do that to sell tons of them at the AH … but you can’t sell conjured items.)
[The Winter Veil Gourmet]
Depending on your character, this might be the hardest achievement. It requires you to cook Gingerbread Cookie Egg Nog and Hot Apple Cider. The patterns are all available from the NPC, there are only two small problems:
You will need Small Egg for two of these recipes, and will probably have to run to a low level zone to farm them along with 30 other players. (Buying them at 50G/stack at the AH is also an option)
Hot Apple Cider require 325 cooking skill! If you never took the time to level your cooking, you will have to go through all the leveling just to complete this achievement.
Needless to say that the price of cooking reagents will most likely skyrocket.
World of Warcraft Make 40k Gold in One Week
April 9, 2009
Hi,
I thought i might share my method of gaining gold in WoW. I’ve been broke for quite a while till i “used” a friends account to get some money out of jewelcrafting. I made quite a bit of money so i made jewelcrafting my main profession.
I made 40k Gold in 1 week with this strategy (playing about 2-3 hours a day)
–> i got up to 75k gold total until i started to spend everything on huge investments
–> i bought: Travelers Thundra (18k), 2x Darkmooncard: Greatness (2x10k), 1x Chopper (17k) + a Chopper for my friend (17k) and still got about 15k left.
Here’s a screenshot to post some “proof”:
So what do you need for this to work:
- 2 Professions: Jewelcrafting(390) / Enchanting (325)
- 500-1000g starting money
What you gonna do?
1. Buy saronite ore in the AH (around 20-28g per stack – depends on each server) there are probably a lot of chinafarmers selling their saronite, so just put them on your friends list and ask them if they sell all their saronite each day directly to you for a cheaper price. I had 2-3 chinafarmers “working” for me at the end.
2. Prospect all the saronite – you’ll get the rare gems (craft them in something usefull – check which stones go for a lot of gold in the auctionhouse) – you’ll also get some uncommon gems (keep the blue/yellow/orange/red gems – you will not need the green/purple stones)
Edit: Some asked which gems are usefull: It highly depends on your server and what the demand is for that gem at the moment. Sometimes Vivid Forest Emeralds sell for 35g+ and sometimes an Enduring Forest Emerald is worth more. If you just started this method or you don’t do a high mass of prospecting then you only wanna make the highest priced gems. Otherwise you just make every gem that goes for 15g+ (around 5-8 at the time) and put it in the AH. The color matters too, on my server Red > Yellow > Purple > Orange > Blue > Green. Of course you need to do the JC-Daily or buy the damaged necklace for new recipes. Usually i just go to the AH a couple of times and see which gems are selling the highest, then i know which recipe i’ll buy next.
3. Buy a lot of eternal earth at the AH (3-8g depending on servers) and turn those into crystalized earth.
4. Use the gems + crystalized earth for the following recipes:
Bloodstone Band – Item – World of Warcraft
Crystal Chalcedony Amulet – Item – World of Warcraft
Crystal Citrine Necklace – Item – World of Warcraft
Sun Rock Ring – Item – World of Warcraft
Yes it will take a bit of time – but those are the most efficient items to make.
You’ll get a lot of infinite dust and lesser cosmic essences (make greater cosmic essences out of them) – you can sell those mats for a pretty high price at the AH
Tip:
- Check around twice a day if you’ve been outbid and either make new gems and put them in cheaper or take them out and put those in again
- Use the addon auctioneer (found in wowmatrix or at curse)
- Use the addon getmail or any other mailaddon to get your money/gems out of the mailbox faster
- Use this easy to use Spreadsheet made from n0skillS: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-gu…ing-combo.html ([Spreadsheet] JCing/Enchanting Combo)
How much you’ll make is always dependend on the raiding situation (on my server on sundays i can sell a lot of raiding gems and on wednesday when servers come up and after archavon has been slain i can sell a lot of pvp gems)
You might ask why i don’t have more money if i could make 40k a week – simple answer: there is nothing to buy anymore and i rather do pvp or raid, since i still got 15k left.
Thats pretty much it!
How to Play World of Warcraft for Free – WoTLK
April 9, 2009
The following guide is step by step easy to follow directions on how to get an ArcEmu 3.0.9 WoW Server up and running with directions to getting it public.
First Off, Getting The Server Running
I would first off like to give thanks to Opast for providing the links to the sites where these downloads can be found.
The first thing you need to do is download the ArcEmu repac. Which you do need to sign up to the website first. No worries, all these downloads ARE completly virus free. I was sketchy at first but went with my will for a server and trusted.
Johved’s Private Server Talk • Login
When you go to pick a Folder Install Destanation, I along with alot, prefer the Idea of installing it to the Desktop, and finish the download.
You will also need .NET Framework 3.5 which enables your server to work.
Download details: .NET Framework 3.5
The ArcEmu folder that you installed (the one that may be on your desktop), Inside is a folder labled “TOOLS”, Copy and paste the “Ad.exe” file into your actuall World Of Warcraft Programs Folder and run it. What this file does is copies all the maps from the wow folder.
When its done, which may take a few minutes, recopy that “Ad.exe” file and repaste it into the “TOOLS” folder, replacing the former one.
Inside the ArcEmu folder, is a file “Johved UserControlPanel.exe” this will be your new best friend with the private server. You will use this file alot so I recomend makeing a shortcut of it onto your desktop. But with that to the side, Run it. This allows you to start all the programs for your private server.
To now start it:
You will first need to create an Account for yourself. This would be the account Username and Password you would use to loging into Wow.
Click the big button that says “Account Management”
Click “Create Account”
Pick A Username/ Password
Considering your are most likely the Innitial creater of your server its only right to choose Admin as your level.
GM’s are like management with your server. They have commands as well but some are not available.
Player’s would be your regular people who play on your server.
The last part would be which version you of WoW you have. When creating other peoples accounts, you would choose what Expansion of WoW they have.
The Finally click “Create Account”
Press the ok for the confirmation screen and the click the button that says “Back”, the one more time.
You should be at the Main Screen of the Control Panel
I will explain the “Realms Config” and “World Settings” a little bit later…
Now to START YOUR SERVER!!!
Click “Start MySQL” then “Start World” followed by “Start LogonServer”
Now for a little modifing and Backing Up.
Find the “realmlist.wtf” file in your WorldOfWarcraft Directory.
For Me its C:\Program Files\World Of Warcraft\Data\enUS.
On your desktop make a folder named “WoW Servers” or whatever you want. But inside make two separate folders. One With “WoW Backup” and the second… I used the name of my server. But copy and paste the “realmlist.wtf” into both folders. The one in the WoW Backup would be to use when you play retail. And the second would be the one you would copy into the world of warcraft…enus folder to play on your Private Server.
(I’m sorry that last part got confuzing. It you want me to re-explain just leave a comment)
KK, now to set up the realmlist for your server.
Go into the folder you set up for your realmlist.wtf for your server. Right click it, and open with Notepad or any other word documents you use. you may see…
set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com
set realmlistbn “”
set portal us
you need to change the first line to…
set realmlist 127.0.0.1
and the second line to….
set patchlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
Ive seen different people with different things on line 3 and 4 so i recomend not messing with those.
and save it. (making sure this is the realmlist.wtf inside YOUR SERVER FOLDER. and not the backup)
You should now have…
set realmlist 127.0.0.1
set patchlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set realmlistbn “”
set portal us
Now copy the realmlist.wtf and paste it into the worldofwarcraft…enUS folder, replacing the former one. Start WoW as if you were playing retail, but Use your new account username and password and there you go. YOUR SERVER!!!
#$%#$%#$%#$%#$%#$%#$%#$%#$%#$%#$%#$%#$%#$%#$%
NOW FOR MAKING IT PUBLIC
Download “HeidiSQL” this is the database that your server will run on.
http://www.heidisql.com/download.php?
Look under the spot that says “Download HeidiSQL” and select the Installer for the recommended one.
Run the file and download. I havn’t read any other “Oh this is something you should do” but i did also download this file to my desktop to keep it in the same area with ArcEmu.
This programs gives you all the data for your server. Such as ID Numbers of weapons and items, account info, which you can modify to you can modify to your enjoyment (such as setting your char level to 255 =) )
You now need a program that can connect your server to your friends computers so that they can play on your Private Server. Hamachi (so ive read and expierenced) is one of the best and simplest.
Make sure to note when it ask you what kind of server you want to setup, want to have a commercial license, just choose the free option. It really is all you need.
https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/list.asp
Before installing it, I made a folder on the desktop labled “Hamachi” and used that as the download destination
When Running for the first time it gives you step by step directions on how to set up.
This is where I explain about the “Realms Config” button
Now go to the Johved UserControlPanel.exe
Click “Realms Config”
A notepad window should pop up.
Take note that the info inside the #-#-#- are info about the different variables.
That to the side at the moment, Scroll all the way down to where it starts with
<Realm1 Name….
I dont have the default but ill use my info to guide you.
You should have something similar to
<Realm1 Name = “Top Flight XXXL”
Address = “127.0.0.1:8129″
Icon = “PVP”
Population = “1.0″
TimeZone = “1″>
Change (“Top Flight XXXL”) to your server name, keeping the parenthesis
and change (“127.0.0.1:8129″) to the IP that Hamachi gives you, keeping :8129
Keep the info at the top the way it is.
Save it and exit
Now open up HeidiSQL
It will try to connect. Click the “New” button and make connection Name, what ever you want. I used the server name.
HOSTNAME/IP: localhost
USER: root
PASSWORD: root
PORT 3306
And click “Save+Connect”
Now at the menu on the left.
Click the + on Characters, the click accounts. Look at the page to the right and look under the “NAME” tab for “FLAGS”, follow it to the “DEFAULT” section and change the variable (double click the number) and change the DEFAULT to 24 and Click Update Field
After this, close everything (such as your logonserver and world) and be sure to “Stop MySQL” from the UserControlPanel. Then Exit, Run Your UserControlPanel, Start MySQL, Start World, Start Logonserver.
And your PUBLIC!
NOTES FOR YOUR FRIENDS. They will also need to download Hamachi. Where you created a network, they need to join yours.
On their realmlist.wtf, it needs to have YOUR hamachi IP rather than the 127.0.0.1 and make sure they changed the word version on the second line, to logon.
Create their account and password (From the Account Management Button in the UserControlPanel)
And everything is up to go!
World of Warcraft Easy Account Gold Making Guide & Tips
April 9, 2009
I have been asked by hundreds of WoW players what the easiest and most effective way to make gold is. I was asked so often that I decided to write an entire guide off of it! Now you can start reading this guide and learn how you too can make 188k gold as quickly and easily as I did! I am here to teach you about the methods I used to make thousands of gold in World of Warcraft!
As a seasoned WoW veteran I use the Auction house several times a day. This gains me around 500 gold in profit. What is great about it is it only takes about 30 minutes a day but generates a TON of profit! What’s also great about this method is it leaves plenty of time for gold making using other methods as well. After using this simple method I logon to WoW and start making real gold using the method I describe in the pages to follow.
When making gold in WoW it is best to focus on rare mobs as they tend to drop the best loot compared to other mobs. I will get into the aspect of rare mobs and let you know the best ones to farm later in this guide. But for now, keep this in mind during your daily travels in the game. Additionally, I will also show you the best rare monsters to farm loot and gold from and where to locate them.
Also, it is best not to forget that professions are the cornerstone to making gold in World of Warcraft. I have covered this aspect for you guys later in the guide so that you can get a good idea of some of the most lucrative professions and practices that will have you making thousands of gold in World of Warcraft!
Another great location that I hit frequently to make gold is the Outlands. This location is perhaps one of the most lucrative in the entire game! Rest assured, I will show you some of the best and most profitable recipes and items to gather from there as well as the best instances and quests which will have you making more gold than you could ever imagine!
These are some of the methods I’ve been performing in the past months and I now have over 188k gold total and I have no idea what to do with all that gold!
I want to start first by offering some general tips and tricks which will allow you to make gold more efficiently, easily, and effectively. This section will outline some small steps you can take right from the start, to get your World of Warcraft character out on the right foot. While you don’t need to follow all of these steps it is recommended that you at least take them into consideration and in mind when you are playing the game.
- Get the Auctioneer addon! This program is great and will help maximize your returns at the auction house if you learn how to use it (visit the forums on their webpage).
- Learn how to use macros. Not only do they make the game easier for you but they allow you to be more efficient in your activities. This means that you can quest, farm, level, and grind faster!
- If you want to gain lots of money starting from the beginning, you should choose mining and skinning as your professions. If you want to make money later in the game fishing is your best bet as you won’t make much use out of it until you have around 150+ fishing skill. While fishing may be boring it pays!
- Do every possible quest you can. Questing is not only the best way to level, but it is also a good way to make money and gain items. Especially early in the game.
- Learn to use the auction house. The AH can make you some serious gold regardless of if you are dealing in potions, epic weapons, or reagents. Learning to use it can be tricky and take some time but it pays off well when a hot item comes into demand!
- Do not buy any items/equips for your character until you are over level 15. You don’t need them and quests will provide you with good enough items to survive off of early in the game. Don’t waste your time and money!
- Buy your backpacks as early as possible! And remember, the biggest is the best! The more items you can hold the more money you stand to make.
- Consider having multiple characters on the same server (an alternative character). Create a character that you don’t play much and station him/her in a capital city. This can be helpful if you have extra materials that can be processed and resold. Simply send them to your ALT to process and then send them back to your main character.
- Do not take Engineering or Blacksmithing as your professions.
- Pick up every single item you find. Sell grey items to vendors and sell white trade goods, greens, and blues in the auction house.
- Buy and find limited recipes. Most recipes can be bought from a specific vendor however some can only be bought once or maybe twice from a vendor in a certain time frame. These recipes with limited availability usually sell very well.
- If you hold shift button while looting, you save a few seconds. It all adds up!
- When you sell stuff in the auction house always put a buyout price on your items. This will help you sell them faster. Also, make sure to set the buyout price slightly lower than what others are selling it for.
- Fight mobs that are 1-4 levels below you. The faster you kill mobs, the more money you will gain and the more items you will get!
- Get a mount as soon as possible. This should be your main focus. The faster you can travel, the more money you can make.
- If possible, try to level your character by killing beasts and humanoids. If you are a skinner, you can skin the beasts you have slain. And humanoids will drop coins every time.
- Look out for neutral auction houses. With a little patience you can make good money selling recipes, pets, and items through them.
- Get WoW addons. There are programs out there that can interact with your World of Warcraft game and assist you in various tasks ranging from quests, coordinates, item locations, and much more! Visit Curse.com to browse some!
- True money making starts after level 10! So do not waste your time by farming things when you are below 10. You want to level up to 10 as soon as possible. However, you will also gain lots of money even at level 1 if you choose mining and skinning as a profession.
I hope you enjoyed this guide and found it helpful in making world of warcraft gold. For more great guides please visit our ebay store: http://stores.shop.ebay.com/hiddenstuff-guides

What to do at Level 80
January 11, 2009
Visit hiddenstuff.com for more great World of Warcraft Guides & Strategies!
this guide is what to do first when you just hit 80. The main priority at this point is what: GEAR. There are many ways of getting gear and stats, but when you first get there, you don’t know which one to pick!
Player vs Player -
Wintergraps
Alright, the first topic I’d like to begin with is Player vs. Player, or other known as PvP, this as of right now, is a quick and easy way of getting some epics/blues. Wintergrasp battles are amazing for getting honor at 80 right now and the honor points for the dailies are going down by the day, so take advantage of it now! If you haven’t done wintergrasp, let me explain the battle. The team that has the fortress defends it with catapults and turrents, while the other team who are attacking try to capture the base. When you first arrive (By portal or flying) I would first ask in General chat to get into the raid that someone else has already started, if there isn’t one then start one. Grab your dailies and start killing the oppisite faction. The dailies and the killing gives you a ton of honor, and wintergrasp starts every 3 hours. The new Season 5 armor sell for a quiet of bit of honor, so stack up as much as you can before going to go buy them at your main city. The new gear for wintergrasp is coming up with the next upcoming patch, so save your marks!

Arena
The other PvP form is Arena (Also BGs, but not going to get into them at this moment). Arenas can be hard for beginners, especially going up against a team that has more skill in it and better gear already. First, find the arena master (located in Dalaran sewers) and start up a arena team with your best pals that are actually GOOD at PvP, because you’ll need it. To begin with this, you must practice a LOT before you get decent. The gear is so much more worth then the Wintergrasp gear, and requires you to have a good rating (Winning and losing ratio). Well anyways here is the gear rewards: (Yes, I stole this from somewhere and the link is below it.)

Heroics and Dungeons
Heroics and Dungeons is kind of Self explanatory, but for those who don’t know ANYTHING about these, here comes the guide! Anyways, In my honest opinion, this is the best way to start out at level 80 to get some decent gear. Purples and Blues drop of the bosses, along with tokens (Emblem of Heroism) + dailies that you can use to get some of the tier 7 gear with by going to dalaran and finding the vendor who sells it. Heroics can be started by finding the daily heroic in dalaran at the Violet Hold, then searching in the LFG addon. Heroic difficulty can be selected at your portrait if your group leader. After you do tons of heroics and almost filled with level 80 blues/purps you can move on to the next thing..
Some examples of gear that drops:
Gloves of Glistening Runes
Greed
Royal Crest of Lordaeron
Plague-Infected Bracers
Limb Regeneration Bracers
Overlook Handguards
Leggings of the Winged Serpent
Gored Hide Legguards
Horn-Tipped Gauntlets
Sash of Blood Removal
Raiding
Raiding, you can begin raiding immidiatly if your in a good guild who raids, or wait after you do heroics. Easy Raids such as Vault of Archavon and Obsidian Sanctum can be completed easily and probably a guy full of greens could raid this. Vault of Archavon is a raid inside the Fortress of Wintergrasp, and you MUST have control over wintergrasp to be able to raid this. It is a easy one boss raid. Obsidian Sanctum is located under Dragon Temple in Dragonsblight. This Raid consists of a Dragon queen surronded by 3 other nether dragons. Each Nether dragon left alive increase the difficulty of the Queen dragon, and with all 3 dragons out you get a achievement and a rare drop of a epic flyer if you kill the queen dragon. This Raid is a little more Difficult then VoA, but still veryly easy if you kill all 3 dragons. There is a more indept stradegy but your raid will most likely go into that when you get there. The last 2 Raids that cause trouble for guilds and are very long are Naxxaramas and Malygos (Eye of Eternity). There is some debate on which are harder, but both can be easy with a good group. These raids you will most likely not be able to get in without at least some good gear. Naxxramas can take up to 3 days to finish the entire run (Not all run together, just seperated into different parts and times.) At the end you kill Kel’thuzad, who drops VERY good gear, along with tier 7.5 tokens.
Here is the tokened gear:
Rogue: Valorous Bonescythe Battlegear
Hunter: Valorous Cryptstalker Battlegear
Warrior: Valorous Dreadnaught Plate
Druid: Valorous Dreamwalker Garb
Shaman: Valorous Earthshatter Garb
Mage: Valorous Frostfire Garb
Priest: Valorous Garb of Faith
Warlock: Valorous Plagueheart Garb
Paladin: Valorous Redemption Plate
Death Knight: Valorous Scourgeborne Plate
(Please note, there are more on this list such as DPS and Tanking gear, but don’t feel like adding all the variations.)

Tips of my Opinion
1. Socket ALL your armor that you can.
2. Clothies GET stamina + intelligence + spellpower, Plates GET Strength + Attack power, AND Leather get Agility (Dps only) along with hit, haste, crit, mp5, defence rating and spirit sockets.
3. IF your a warlock, GET SPIRIT, fel armor now increases your Spell power by how much spirit you have.
4. Horn of winter is your best friend as a Death Knight!
5. (By Skaya133): Retri paladins have a good use of haste. More hits = more Seal of Blood/the Martyr hits, which deals alot of damage(My friend critted 11k with seal of the martyr).
Spirit/Mp5 can be important as a healer, or You’ll get out of mana at the start of a boss fight, instant wipe!.
Tanks(except druid) needs defence rating to be crit immune, and stam can be usefull as tank unless you want to be 1-shotted.
If you have any tips of your own, then tell me what you think we need to add. AND, if you noticed my related threads part, if you have anything to do with that subject and it’s a guide, please tell me and I will post it here. I also was very tired writing this guide, so give me some slack, took me awhile.
wall of text crits you…

World of Warcraft Guild Guide

Visit hiddenstuff.com for more great World of Warcraft Guides & Strategies!
Alright well I just wanted to make a guide on how to make a successful guild so that I can help people, because I use to be an experience guild leader, tell I had to leave for another guild. And btw if someone already made a thread like this, please send me the link and I will discard this thread =)
Ok so firstly it all depends on what kind of guild you want to make, a Serious PVP guild, a Raiding guild, a PVP guild, or just some random FUN guild. I would say this guide is more into the random FUN guild aspect from the types of guilds I just listed.
1) Guild Names
This is one of the most important things on how to make a good guild! Usually.. if your making some random fun guild the guild names are funny, but they don’t have to be, my opinion I would choose a funny guild name.
Heres a list of some guild names that I got off a website called Sherdog Link: Best of Wow Guild names. – Sherdog Mixed Martial Arts Forums

I would recommend picking a guild name out of this list, if you dont really like them then try to come up with a funny guild name (reason being if you make a serious guild name like “Irontree” or “Cadia” (some guild names i took off my old server lightinghoof) people will think your a level 80 hardcore serious guild, so they won’t bother asking if they can join.
2) Ventrilo server
Now… I know some people have an issue with ventrilo servers because you have to pay to rent the servers, but MANY people are picky about if your guild as a VENT server! If you don’t feel like renting a vent server, try looking on google for free vent servers that people share, or an other option is just to use the In-Game voice chat (which is decent), just make a channel for your guild and place a password so no random people can join the channel and talk.
3) Activities
Ok!!! This is probally one of the most important things for a guild, other than the guild name
is KEEPING YOUR GUILD ACTIVE!!!! IT is important that your guild is active, and you host contests or some activitiy where people would ACTUALLY partcipate in.. not some old boring activity.
Some things to do are:
Guild Lottery
Contests
A level one raid (example make a bunch of level ones and go raid that level 10 Elite in Elywnn forest called Hog or something.. forgot his name)
Guild Dungeon Runs
Go gank some Alliance/Horde in STV
Premade PVP GROUP
Whatever you can think of !!! DO IT because if your guild is boring and nobody talks on the guild channel, everybody is going to eventually leave …
Even guild meetings or gatherings are helpful! Also make sure to use the In-Game WoW Calandar (replaced the Sun or Moon on the minimap) to record these special days
[COLOR="rgb(0, 100, 0)"]4) Tips:
Always recruit members over level 20+ so that you dont get some trial accounts in your guild
Never keep the guild chat empty !!!
Do not keep on doing the same activities.. because eventually they will get boring
Offer people promotions once in a while to keep them interested (Tell them if you recruit members or donate to guild bank, or guild Tab I will promote you)
Also make sure that your guild has a guild bank, a NICE looking Tabard, Some type of teamspeak channel, guild bank, and GUILD TABS!!!
Thanks And good luck

10 TIPS AND TRICKS THAT CAN MAKE YOUR WOW LIFE EASIER
Warning: if you are an advanced player some of them may be common sense for you, but please don’t flame and say “Common sense!” or “Epic fail!”. I just want to help beginners and intermediate players as many people do (this section is full of beginners guide).
1) Finding more players for a group quest can be REALLY hard sometimes. How many times you spent hours looking for a healer and/or a tank for a 5-man quest? Well, instead of spamming “LF tank and healer for ** quest name **” every 5 minutes, just say “Any tank or healer here that wants to earn 10 gold fast?”. You will immediately get tons of whispers like “How?”, “Sure!”, and so on. Just say that you need help for the quest and they will usually accept. After it’s done you can pay them if you want, 10 gold are nothing (if the quest is a Northrend one you will get your 10 gold back when you deliver it). But remember: sometimes they just leave group and forget about the gold! Don’t pay them unless they ask you.
2) I’m sure that you hate people that ignore you. I’m not talking about the /ignore system, but about, for example, Mages and Rogues that don’t answer to your Portal or Lockpicking request even if they are near you walking (so you know that they are not AFK). Well, if they don’t answer and you are sure that they are not AFK, just say “Oh, sorry, I thought you were a real player… should I report you for botting?
“. 100% guaranteed reply. Make sure to add a “
” or “
” or “
” at the end or they can take your sentence serious and simply put you on ignore.
3) Don’t spend hours looking for boosts spamming “WTB boost Maraudon 10 gold!”. High level players can make 500+ gold per hour, so no one will help you. In addition you will look like a noob begger and, you know, people tend to ignore this kind of players. Just try to find a group or simply ask your guild. A bored guild mate will usually say yes, especially if you tell him “You will get the achievement if you don’t have it, and if you want you can keep BOE blues.”.
4) Another group quest trick. So, you are alone near the mob you have to kill for a group quest and you see enemy players coming to kill him. The worst thing to do is pulling the mob to steal their kill. I suggest to let them pull him and HELP them. Then, when they are done, try to let them know that you need help. For example begin to jump near the mob or /point him. They will usually help you. Worked for me 5/5 times on a PvE server, but it can work also on a PvP one: not all enemies are going to kill you, especially if you help them.
5) If you happen to obtain a non-soulbond item related to an event (for example Jingling Bell – Item – World of Warcraft) that you don’t need, DON’T sell it during the event! Wait a few months and you will be able to sell it for 10 times more. The item provided in my example was usually sold for 20-30 gold on my server during the Winter Veil event, but I’m sure that you can sell it for 300+ gold on Summer.
6) ALWAYS read the patch notes for upcoming patches (you can find them on WoWWiki, WoWHead and even on the official site). If you know what’s going to happen, not only you can make a lot of money, but you can even know what classes/specs are going to be nerfed and stuffs like that. This can help you and influence your playing.
7) There is a small trick that nearly no one knows. How many dungeon difficulty there are? Normal and Heroic? Wrong. If you type “/script SetDungeonDifficulty(3);” the difficulty will be set to a third level called Epic. This is NOT implemented yet (you will get an error message if you try to enter an Instance), but it’s not completely useless. You can use it to amaze people in your party and, why not, make money. For example you can say “This is a secret difficulty, I will tell you how to set it for 10 gold.” or even make a YouTube scam video saying that you have discovered this difficulty with imba epics… use your imagination.
8) If you scam someone, don’t waste time deleting the character and remaking it with the same name several times. This will NOT fool Blizzard logs, because characters are saved by a unique ID (if you know how private server works, well, it’s something like the GUID) and not by name. I know that I have said this at least 10 times, but people still continue to say “Delete your character and remake it.” in several scam methods. Oh, and the same is for WTF and Cache folder… GMs are NOT able to see them, so don’t waste time deleting.
9) If you have low FPS and you don’t know which settings affect them, I have a few suggestions:
- Turn OFF Vertical Sync, Full-Screen Glow Effect and Windowed mode.
- Set Resolution exactly like your desktop.
- Set Refresh exactly like your monitor.
- Set Shadow Quality to 1 (it goes from 1 to 4).
You will have higher FPS (then higher performance) and still good quality. If you want you can also lower View Distance and Weather Intensity.
10) Remember that WoW is a GAME. This seems obvious, but many people tend to forget it… I have lost several real life friends because of WoW. Be nice, calm and don’t take it too seriously.
